Impact Fletcher barely logged more minutes than rebounds during Xavier's latest game, which included Jackson State not making a lot of field goals and the 6-foot-7 forward showing arguably his best quality. He averaged 6.5 rebounds between his last seasons for Florida State.

Besides the Seminoles replacing Matt Cleveland with Jamir Watkins, there is not much different about their frontcourt, giving him a legitimate opportunity to regularly start again.

Through two games (one start), Fletcher has racked up 20 total points but has gone a meager 8-for-25 from the field in that span. Fletcher and Calipari had a telephone conversation where they came to an understanding, ultimately agreeing that it would be best for Fletcher to rejoin the team this season. It's still unclear when the freshman will return.

Impact Calipari was very open with some of the issues that seem to be surrounding Fletcher, who was visibly upset on the bench near the end of Saturday's 75-63 loss to North Carolina. The freshman played just two minutes in the contest, marking the third straight game in which he played fewer than 10 minutes.
