Impact Linguard, who has been dealing with an eligibility issue, will not suit up for UTSA this season. The 7-foot senior who most recently averaged 1.3 points and 1.3 rebounds on 8.1 minutes for Kansas State (2021-22), will have two remaining years of eligibility heading into next season.

Impact Linguard was serving an academic suspension for the first semester of the school year but apparently has yet to receive clearance from the NCAA to play. A return this season for the Kansas State transfer remains up in the air.

Impact After two seasons as a reserve with Kansas State, the 7-0 Linguard hit the transfer portal and landed with UTSA in hopes of an expanded role. That idea will be put on hold until presumably after Christmas, while Jacob Germany -- the primary starter the last two seasons -- continues to man the five for the Roadrunners.
