Isaiah Poor Bear-Chandler - No waiver issued yetPoor Bear-Chandler did not take the court in Monday's 79-55 victory over Central Arkansas while he continues to await a waiver from the NCAA.

ImpactPoor Bear-Chandler technically needs a waiver from the NCAA with this being his second transfer. The uncertainty held him out of exhibition play and has now carried into the regular season. His status will likely remain murky in advance of Saturday's matchup against ALcorn State. Once cleared, he'll be an option to provide post depth behind Kenny Pohto and Quincy Ballard.

Colby Rogers - Still waiting on waiverRodgers did not take the court in Monday's season opener against Central Arkansas, as he appears to still be waiting on an eligibility waiver from the NCAA.

ImpactWhile the NCAA has been liberal in handing out waivers in general, Rogers still hasn't cleared the necessary paperwork that comes with the second transfer of his collegiate career. The team is understandably playing it safe but remains hopeful the double-digit scorer will be cleared in short order.

ImpactPorter missed the final contest of the 2021-22 season due to a hip injury, but that appears to be in the past now. After briefly considering the transfer market this offseason, the 6-2 senior guard returned to Wichita State -- a decision that already appears to be paying dividends. Not only did Porter retain his starting role, but he needed only 20 minutes to post a new career high while chipping in plenty in the ancillary categories. He'll look to continue this momentum in Saturday's matchup against Alcorn State.
