ImpactFor the second straight game, Pride sizzled in the second half and snapped the Bulldogs out of a brief malaise. Peter Kiss is seen as Bryant's superstar and that's fair -- he is, after all, the leading scorer in the nation -- but Pride is the heartbeat of the Bulldogs, and the team's best clutch player. It was no surprise when Pride joined Kiss on the All-NEC first team roster, which was announced Tuesday.

Greg Calixte - Sparks Bulldogs off benchCalixte collected 11 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks in Wednesday's NEC quarterfinal victory over Central Connecticut.

ImpactCalixte played 25 minutes off the bench, compared to just 16 for starter Hall Elisias. It's possible head coach Jared Grasso simply rolled with Calixte once the senior got hot, but Elisias also didn't appear 100 percent. It's a situation to monitor in advance of Saturday's semifinal game against Mount St. Mary's.
