Simas Lukosius - Involved in on-court collisionLukosius amassed six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt), one rebound, four assists and one block in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 84-51 win over Chaminade.
ImpactLukosius saw more minutes than any other Butler reserve in this contest, as starting point guard Aaron Thompson was limited to 18 minutes, as he exited the game following multiple shots to the head. Lukosius didn't get away unscathed himself, as David Woods of The Indianapolis Star reports that he was involved in a collision that drew blood, and looked "woozy" afterwards. There hasn't been any word on whether concussion protocol could eventually be in play here, but the freshman's status may be worth monitoring prior to next Tuesday's matchup against Saginaw Valley State.

Aaron Thompson - Cleared after head shotsThompson finished Wednesday's 84-51 victory over Chaminade with zero points (0-1 FG), four rebounds, two assists and one block across 18 minutes.
ImpactThompson saw his lowest minutes total since his return, which can likely at least be partially attributed to taking multiple shots to the face/head that forced him to exit the contest. Fortunately, according to David Woods of The Indianapolis Star, Thompson was ultimately cleared to return. Butler has a long break on tap and isn't taking the court until Nov. 30, so Thompson should long be free of any ill effects by the time that date rolls around.
