Nears double-double in winBacot posted 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-6 FT), eight rebounds and three blocks across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 79-60 win over Charleston.
ImpactBacot was a starter last season as a freshman and that shouldn't change in 2020-21, as he was part of the starting unit in the season opener and delivered a strong performance on both ends of the court -- it was a step in the right direction after averaging just 9.6 points with 8.3 rebounds in 2019-20. Expect Bacot to remain in the starting lineup for Monday's tilt at UNLV.

Scores team-high 17 pointsLove finished with 17 points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four assists, two steals and a rebound in Wednesday's 79-60 win over Charleston.
ImpactLove started in his debut as a Tar Heel and didn't waste time to make an impact, finishing as the team's top scorer and passer while also attempting the most shots. He wasn't accurate from the field, but Love should continue to make an impact on offense based on what he showcased in the season opener. His next chance to feature will come Monday at UNLV.

Double-doubles off benchSharpe posted 13 points (4-8 FG, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 22 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 79-60 win over Charleston.
ImpactThe Tar Heels dominated the game entirely and Sharpe was one of the big reasons why -- he finished the game as the second-highest scorer on the team while also grabbing the second-most rebounds, and he was the only UNC player that ended with a double-double. Sharpe might have a tough time cracking the starting lineup any time soon, but he should remain productive off the bench based on what he did in his debut. His next chance to feature should come Monday at UNLV.
