Ings puts up 17 in Norfolk State's 75-51 win over Coppin State in MEAC Tournament

Led by Christian Ings' 17 points, the Norfolk State Spartans defeated the Coppin State Eagles 75-51 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament on Wednesday night

Puts up 11 in return Ings (undisclosed) collected 11 points (3-9 FG, 4-5 FT, 1-2 3PT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 21 minutes Thursday against Howard.

Impact Ings hadn't seen any action since Feb. 14 due to an unknown injury, but he took on his typical workload Thursday, though he did come off the bench for the first time this season. It remains to be seen whether he will return to the starting lineup after being eased back into game speed during the win.
