Impact Harris was the only player to crack 20 points on the night and he did so off of the bench. He stood tall in the extra period sinking a pair of free throws and hitting a clutch three-point shot to take the lead with less than a minute to play. In his last five appearances, the sophomore is averaging 11 points and 4.2 rebounds through 29.4 minutes.

Impact Harris displayed great leadership in the second half rally by shooting six for seven from the field including three for four from the three-point line. The first of those three's landed to take the lead from Troy, and in pivotal moments he was comfortable with the ball in his hands. The 6'2" sophomore is playing an average of 35 minutes this season, but seemingly never tired, he is averaging 4.7 rebounds.

Aaron Thompson's suspension puts a larger role on Harris to distribute, three of his four turnovers on the night came off bad passes. Harris' aggression at the rim is a good sign the former Big East All-Freshman will continue to score points.

Impact Harris missed Butler's first exhibition due to reasons that were never specified, but he was back in action for the team's final tune-up prior to the Nov. 9 season opener. He also started the contest over Jair Bolden, who logged just 11 minutes in the game. It's possible Harris just needed the tune-up minutes more, but given that this game was closer than most expected, the distribution of playing time could be telling of how the Bulldogs will handle their rotation early in the year.

Harris might have a tough time replicating last season's scoring average of 12.9 ppg with a healthy Aaron Thompson back in the mix, but he'll be a rotation player nonetheless for a team struck hard early by the injury bug.
