Jizzle James - Continues to excel as starter James racked up 14 points (7-13 FG, 0-5 3Pt), two rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals in 29 minutes during Saturday's 81-58 victory over Georgia Tech.
Impact James scored 14 points despite not connecting on a three-pointer for the first time this season. He also dished out seven assists while committing only one turnover, marking the third time in five games he's posted six or more assists while turning the ball over two or fewer times. James continues to hold onto the starting spot with Day Day Thomas coming off the bench as the latter ramps back up following missing the first three games this season due to a foot injury. However, even when Thomas is back up to full strength, it's tough to see how he can surpass James in the starting lineup. James has been fantastic this season, posting 14.0 points (53.4 percent), 5.8 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 steals across 27.2 minutes and perhaps most importantly has turned the ball over just 1.8 times per game, giving him an assist:turnover ratio of better than 3:1.

Despite the injuries, the senior guard is expected to practice with the team Thursday and the Cincinnati coaching staff will hope to learn more about the severity of the injury in that time. The 6-foot-3 former Kentucky transfer averaged four points per game across the first two contests of the season before suffering his initial injury against Nicholls and will hope for a fast recovery to return to action in time for Saturday's matchup against Georgia Tech.

Impact James continues to take advantage of his starting opportunity, posting a season-high 19 points with six boards, four assists while chipping in a block and a steal. The sophomore point guard has started all three games thus far while Day Day Thomas continues to deal with a foot injury. If we include the last two games of last year's NIT, James has started five games in his career, averaging 18.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists across 31.4 minutes during those five contests.

Impact Lukosius continues to shoot the lights out, scoring 19 points on 7-11 shooting including going 5-7 from behind the arc. The senior forward also led the team with six assists while contributing six rebounds in what was a quality all-around offensive performance. Lukosius ended last season by draining 19 triples on 51.4% shooting during Cincinnati's three-game run in the NIT, averaging 23.7 points in the process. It turns out that was a precursor to this season with Lukosius shooting 71.4% from three and 75% from the field through three games. He's averaging 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.0 steals across 25.3 minutes per contest.
