ImpactMaxwell's services were clearly not necessary against a greatly-overmatched opponent, though it was still interesting to see him held out after the sophomore guard had averaged 18.3 mpg over four games since his return. He's already dealt with both a dental issue and flu-like symptoms this year, so this appeared to have just been a prime opportunity to get him extra rest. A better indication of his availability will be made clear depending on whether or not Maxwell takes the court Wednesday against Florida State.
