Lance Terry - Scores 16 in program debutTerry totaled 16 points (5-10 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one assist and one steal across 24 minutes during Monday's 93-63 victory over Clayton State.
ImpactTerry spent the first three years of his college career playing for Gardner-Webb and averaged 14.3 points per game last season, but surprisingly, he topped that figure in the season opener. Terry is likely to spend most of the campaign as a starter after Georgia Tech lost quite a few pieces during the offseason.

Rodney Howard - Opens season with 15 pointsHoward closed with 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 20 minutes during Monday's 93-63 victory over Clayton State.
ImpactHoward was a regular starter for Georgia Tech last season and is expected to hold the same role in 2022-23, with the difference that he might have a bigger role on the offensive side of the ball. He posted a career-high 6.5 points per game the previous year, but he shouldn't have major issues in topping that figure in 2022-23.
