Leading scorer in upset loss Murray-Boyles accumulated 17 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, four blocks and two steals in 31 minutes during Monday's 74-71 loss to North Florida.
Impact It was a brutal opener for the Gamecocks. And while Murray-Boyles led the team with 17 points, it took 16 shots to get there. He'll remain one of, if not South Carolina's top option, but he needs to improve his efficiency as they try to bounce back from a tough upset in Columbia.
