Desmond Cambridge - Pours in career-high 36 pointsCambridge tallied 36 points (13-15 FG, 7-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two steals and two blocks across 37 minutes Tuesday in Nevada's 82-72 loss to Colorado State.
ImpactThanks to his unconscious shooting display, Cambridge was able to established a new career-high total in scoring, despite Nevada welcoming its top guard in Trent Sherfield back from a three-game absence due to a foot injury. Considering Cambridge entered Tuesday having converted at a 41.2 percent rate from the field and a 32.9 percent rate from downtown for the season, expect his shooting efficiency to take a major step back in the games to come.

David Roddy - Drops 29 in road winRoddy had 29 points (11-14 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 82-72 victory over Nevada.
ImpactRoddy has now logged three consecutive games with 22 or more points, bringing his season-long scoring average up to 19.2 ppg -- good for fourth in a Mountain West conference loaded with dominant scorers. While Roddy has improved his assist, steal and block averages from a season ago, the most impressive development has been his three-point shooting. He's taken 3.1 attempts per game, which is just 0.5 greater than last season, but the difference is that he's hitting those outside shots at an outstanding 50 percent clip. Roddy and the Rams remain tournament hopeful and currently sit just 1.5 games behind conference leaders Wyoming and Boise State.

ImpactSherfield missed the previous three games with the foot injury but will retake the court Tuesday after being considered a game-time decision. The junior guard is averaging 18.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.2 assists per contest and should bring a significant boost to Nevada's lineup.
