The 6-4 sophomore started all but one game during the regular season and will begin Thursday's action from the bench with Jordan McCabe sticking in the starting five. Gilbert averages 11.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals over 28 minutes per game and should hear his name called fairly quickly.

ImpactDespite being part of UNLV's starting lineup Wednesday, McCabe was limited to far less than half of the game's 45 minutes. Unfortunately for him, it is likely Keshon Gilbert (suspension) is made available when UNLV and Boise State play each other Thursday, thus demoting the spot starter down UNLV's pecking order again.
