Jayden Gardner - Records double-doubleGardner finished Thursday's 68-59 victory over North Carolina with 17 points (5-11 FG, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, one block and two steals over 33 minutes.
ImpactGardner carried the Cavaliers on both ends of the court in a solid win over the Tar Heels, and he recorded his second double-double over his last five appearances. Gardner should be one of Virginia's go-to players Friday in a tough matchup against Clemson for a berth in the ACC Tournament final.
