ImpactMcEwen averaged 38.3 mpg during the first three contests of Big East play but has averaged just 26.0 mpg -- and 5.3 ppg -- over his most recent three. The explanation lies at least in part due to foul trouble, as the senior guard has committed four personals in back-to-back games. Symir Torrence is also back from a toe injury, while Greg Elliott has seen his minutes rise as well. Without Markus Howard around to dominate scoring for Marquette this season, McEwen's scoring average has, not surprisingly, risen to 12.8 ppg. What's concerning for fantasy players is that his marks in rebounding (3.3 rpg) and assists (3.0 apg) both are in decline. The Golden Eagles have a rematch with Villanova on Friday, and in the first matchup this season, McEwen had just five points in 27 minutes.
