Baylor Scheierman - Maestro in win Scheierman ended with 12 points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds and nine assists over 32 minutes during Thursday's 87-74 victory over Villanova.

Impact Scheierman was a lucky bounce away from the first triple-double of his career. Facilitating was a bigger part of his game at South Dakota State last season, where he averaged 4.5 dimes per game. In a more traditional frontcourt role now, Scheierman is averaging a well-rounded 12.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Ryan Kalkbrenner - Efficient in win Kalkbrenner had 21 points (9-12 FG, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 36 minutes during Thursday's 87-74 win over Villanova.

Impact Kalkbrenner has oddly been kept off the glass in recent games, averaging just 3.4 rebounds over his past five contests. However, he continues being Creighton's top and most consistent scorer. He's delivered at least 16 points in four straight games.

Impact Kaluma has scored 18-plus points just thrice over his past 22 games, but two occasions have come against Villanova in recent games. Strong contributions from Kaluma are huge for Creighton's postseason hopes. He's averaging 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 45.7 percent shooting over his past four contests.
