Boden Kapke - Season-high 13 points off benchKapke registered 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists over 20 minutes during Saturday's 80-76 loss to Creighton.
ImpactKapke has been a contributor off the bench in every game thus far, but he's seen his usage go up in the recent games with double-digit minutes in six of Butler's last seven outings. The sophomore big man capitalized on his increased playing time versus the Bluejays, registering a season-high 13 points and three makes from behind the arc. He likely won't start a game with the Bulldogs' five locked in at this moment, but he should continue to see an influx of minutes moving forward.

Patrick McCaffery - 21 points in loss to BluejaysMcCaffery totaled 21 points (7-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and seven rebounds across 35 minutes during Saturday's 80-76 loss to Creighton.
ImpactMcCaffery put together his best scoring game since November, but his efforts weren't enough in the eventual four-point loss to Creighton. The senior forward also tacked on seven rebounds, putting him at an average of 6.5 rebounds per game in the last four games for the Bulldogs. The 6-foot-9 playmaker now also has score double-digit points in all but three games this year.

Steven Ashworth - Double-double against BulldogsAshworth accumulated 22 points (8-20 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 40 minutes during Saturday's 80-76 win over Butler.
ImpactAshworth's 6-foot stature didn't hinder him from getting boards against Butler, as he registered a season-high 12 rebounds and his first double-double of the campaign. The senior guard was unable to get going from behind the arc with just one of his eight three-point attempts going in, but he still did put together a solid 22 points. His efforts as the Bluejays' facilitator will especially be needed this upcoming Tuesday against Providence.

Ryan Kalkbrenner - Drops 26 points vs. ButlerKalkbrenner notched 26 points (11-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, six blocks and three steals across 34 minutes during Saturday's 80-76 victory over Butler.
ImpactKalkbrenner logged one of his best scoring performances of the season, and his second-most points scored on the season. The senior center not only finished the outing with a 64.7 field-goal percentage, but he also connected on three shots behind the arc which was another season best. The 7-foot-1 big man has struggled in some games to get going on the offensive front, but continuing to play like he did against the Bulldogs could bode well for his future output.
