Impact Foster appeared briefly in Nevada's season opener against Sam Houston, but head coach Steve Alford stated that the senior guard missed most of October's team activities due to an undisclosed injury. The 6-foot-6 senior will have his next opportunity to return Wednesday against Weber State.

Returning to Nevada Foster will return to Nevada for the team's 2024-25 season, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Impact Though many juniors and redshirt seniors have already entered the transfer portal to maximize their last season of collegiate eligibility, Foster will enroll at Nevada again for his. He may already be in a favorable situation though, considering the current state of Nevada's 2024-25 team. No remaining eligibility will prevent the Wolf Pack from having Kenan Blackshear, Hunter McIntosh and Jarod Lucas, their 2023-24 team's primary trio of guards. While the Nevada team still has time to fill out its roster, Foster stands at least an adequate chance of a role upgrade, considering he is the only prominent guard able to re-enroll there.

Impact The junior had a solid game in Tuesday's win over New Mexico shooting perfect from the field and had six assists, a season-high. Foster saw 24 minutes as well, which is the most he has played this season. If he continues to see this usage, expect higher production moving forward.

Hopeful for post-Christmas return Head coach Steve Alford said Wednesday that Foster is considered game-to-game with an ankle sprain, Chris Murray of Nevada SportsNet reports.

Impact Foster sustained a high-ankle sprain Nov. 18 against UT Arlington, and he then returned Dec. 3 versus Loyola Marymount and logged just eight minutes in the contest. However, he's since missed each of the team's last three matchups, and it now sounds as if his return will likely come sometime after Christmas when the Wolf Pack opens Mountain West play Dec. 28 versus Boise State.
