Departing from Baylor Grimes has announced, via his personal Twitter account, that he will enter into the NCAA transfer portal. Impact Grimes will get a head start on looking for a new program to suit up for next season, opting to move on from Baylor. The 6-foot-2 junior, who has spent the last two seasons with the Bears, started his collegiate career at Kilgore Junior College in 2021. Grimes, who averaged 4.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 12 appearances with Baylor during the 2023-24 season, will carry two remaining years of eligibility into the portal.
