He closed the conference slate with an average of 33.6 points per game in the final seven contests to bring his season-long mark to 24.7, ranking second in Division I behind only Bryant's Peter Kiss (25.1). Impact Liberty appears to be headed for a second consecutive NCAA Tournament bid following a 9-1 start to Atlantic Sun play, and that's due in no small part to McGhee, who is averaging a career-best 22.4 ppg -- good for fifth in the nation entering Wednesday's slate of games. Despite the significantly-increased shot volume, McGhee is shooting a career-best 46.9 percent from the field, in addition to his second-straight season above 40 percent from distance. With multiple 40-point performances this season, McGhee is certainly capable of single-handedly carrying the Flames to a first-round upset.
