Impact McNeill started the first six games of the season for the Roadrunners and logged 20 or more minutes in each, but sat out the entire second half Nov. 24 against Lamar after getting "banged up." Without the senior guard, UTSA only managed a 10-point victory against a DII opponent, with the Roadrunners continuing to mix up their rotation, utilizing 11 players. It remains to be seen if the former Cal and SMU guard will be available when UTSA takes on Grand Canyon on Thursday.

Impact McNeill required a waiver to play this year since it was his second time transferring schools. The 6-3 guard played in just 12 games last year for SMU after being limited by a foot issue and averaged 7.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in 23.9 minutes per game. He'll likely see a much larger role after transferring over to the roadrunners, similarly to the starting role he had while at Cal, when he averaged 11.1 points over 32.7 minutes per game across two seasons with the Bears.
