Impact Morsell underwent surgery in March to repair a fractured labrum and was known to be getting close to practicing in early October. The Maryland transfer will in fact be ready to debut for the Golden Eagles to kick off the 2021-22 season. He was a four-year starter for the Terrapins and most recently averaged nine points, four rebounds and 2.8 assists in 29.7 minutes per game.

Nearing return to practice Coach Shaka Smart said Friday that Morsell (shoulder) will be cleared to practice fully next week, Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Impact Morsell underwent surgery to address a fractured labrum in his shoulder in March, and he's been participating in conditioning during the offseason. Once he's cleared to practice, he'll have approximately a month to carve out a role with his new program ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
