Impact Coit made it rain Saturday, pouring in 5-of-9 from long range en route to a season-high 15 points during Kansas' whitewashing of the Cowboys. It was the fifth time this season Coit has reached double figures and the second-consecutive game he's accomplished the feat. The senior guard is averaging 5.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 15.3 minutes per game off the bench for the Jayhawks.

Coit looked confident and was not shy about pulling the trigger from deep. The 5-11 guard was a late addition to the team after averaging 20.9 PPG at Northern Illinois. It's still a bit unclear on what Coit's role will be this season, but after Kansas had a lot of depth and shooting issues last season, he will certainly be an option that coach Bill Self has no problems going to if they need a scoring punch.
