Foster Loyer - Scoring production dippingLoyer had 12 points (4-17 FG, 4-12 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists and three steals over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 64-57 win over La Salle.
ImpactLoyer has been one of the top players in the A-10 for some time now. While he continues to be productive across multiple categories, his shooting numbers have noticeably dipped from where he was at to start the season. Loyer averaged 22.6 points and 3.6 three-pointers on 46.3 percent from the field and 46 percent from three-point range. Over the last five games he is averaging just 9.8 points and 1.8 three-pointers on 31.1 percent shooting from the field and 25.7 percent from deep. Maybe not coincidentally, Davidson is also 1-4 during that five game stretch. Loyer will try to get things heated up on Friday against Saint Louis.

Sam Mennenga - Carries Davidson in road winMennenga notched 27 points (10-16 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 64-57 victory over La Salle.
ImpactThe big effort helped Davidson snap a four-game conference losing streak in what has otherwise been a down year for the Wildcats. Individually, however, Mennenga passed Foster Loyer for the team lead in scoring here by bringing his average up to 16.1 ppg, while also leading the unit on the glass with a career-best 7.7 rpg average. The junior is also on pace for his best year in terms of field-goal percentage, shooting 52.3 percent through the season's first 20 games.

Andres Marrero - Part of starting lineup TuesdayMarrero registered 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 64-57 loss to Davidson.
ImpactKhalil Brantley was not part of La Salle's starting lineup Tuesday. Marrero benefited from the change, especially after considering how unimpressive he played in between his two games started. Marrero averaged 1.7 points and 0.3 assists across six matchups. So though the freshman played well during his second game started, it does not indicate he will be a valued option fantasy managers can consistently benefit from.

Jorge Sanchez-Ramos - Disappoints across 25 minutesSanchez-Ramos posted zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 64-57 loss to Davidson.
ImpactAfter sitting out seven games from Dec. 29 to Jan. 21, Sanchez logged his first game started across 2023. He did not do well during the opportunity. Sanchez logged more turnovers (four) than points, assists and steals added together. He will need to redeem himself across 2023.
