First double-double Garcia had 14 points (6-10 FG, 0-2 3 Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 28 minutes in Monday's 89-84 victory over Creighton. Impact It was a career-high in rebounding and first double-double for the freshman, who seems to be taking advantage of the fact that center Theo John appears to be limited by a knee injury. The volume has at least been consistent for Garcia, as he's attempted double-digit shots in five of seven games this season, including his last four. The 6-11 power forward is converting those at a rate of 43.1 percent, including 38.9 percent from beyond the arc. There is a ton of long-term upside here if he sticks with the program for multiple seasons.
