Logs career-high 29Nwokeji had a game and career-high 29 points (9-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 9-11 FT) to go along with nine rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block across 40 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's...
ImpactDayton was in foul trouble for much of this contest, with three players -- including starting center Jordy Tshimanga -- ultimately fouling out. This left an abundance of minutes at the wings for the freshman, who took full advantage. Nwokeji hadn't even attempted a field goal in 23 combined minutes over his last two contests, so it's tough to count on this production moving forward. That being said, the Flyers feature three seniors in the starting lineup, which could open the door for Nwokeji to be a foundational piece in 2021-22 and beyond.

Held scoreless TuesdayWeaver had zero points (0-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in 14 minutes on the court Tuesday against Rhode Island.
ImpactWeaver was able to secure a starting role while Rodney Chatman was sidelined due to hand surgery, but if Tuesday's minutes distribution were any indication of what's to come, that role could very well be in jeopardy. Chatman made his return in this matchup, logging 36 minutes off the bench. Meanwhile, Weaver started and saw his lowest minutes total since Dec. 19, despite not dealing with foul trouble (three Dayton players fouled out). It's a far cry from the 37 and 39 minutes Weaver saw in his previous two contests. He'll still presumably maintain a key rotation role, but the junior's fantasy value is set to take a major hit.

Heavy minutes in returnChatman had seven points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), four assists, three rebounds and a steal across 36 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 91-89 OT loss to Rhode Island.
ImpactChatman returned from an 11-game absence that was forced due to hand surgery, and while he wasn't in the starting five for this contest, he still played starter's minutes. Now that it's been proven he can handle a full workload -- even with some foul trouble -- look for Chatman to take over for Elijah Weaver in the near future. Weaver logged just 14 minutes in this contest and was scoreless on 0-for-5 shooting. Chatman, on the other hand, was averaging 9.6 points, 4.1 assists and 2.3 steals prior to his injury. He'll also presumably help take some of the ball-handling pressure off fellow senior Jalen Crutcher.
