Impact Hunt's injury is a massive blow to the Spiders who will lose their leading scorer on the season. The 6-foot senior guard, who has started in all 16 games this season, is averaging 16.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.2 steals on 35.6 minutes per game. In his absence, B. Artis White figures to take over the starting point guard spot for the Spiders.

Impact Hunt last appeared in a game Nov. 20 before undergoing wrist surgery and being given a 6-to-8 week recovery timetable. While the early end of that timetable is approaching, he's still not ready to take the court, though his presence in warmups can only be a good sign. His starting role went to Mikkel Tyne after the injury and Tyne has started every game since, but the two could be battling for minutes again before the end of the month.
