Impact Harris-Smith cashed in 3-of-4 looks from deep, closing with 16 points, two rebounds and three assists during Thursday's loss to the Badgers. The 6-foot-5 freshman has appeared in all 33 games this season, averaging 7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 0.9 steals on 29.5 minutes per game. Harris-Smith struggled to find his shot during his freshman season but showed the ability to impact the game elsewhere in his collegiate debut.

Impact Harris-Smith has been a regular starter for Maryland this season, featuring in the first unit in all but two of his appearances in 2023-24, so it's not surprising to see him returning to the starting five. Starting in first collegiate game Harris-Smith is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Mount St. Mary's.
Impact Harris-Smith has been able to come right in and adapt to the college game during Maryland's summer and fall practices. He figures to see a lot of action as the starting shooting guard and could make himself a value piece in fantasy formats that feature the Big Ten.
