Struggling to find spot in rotation Edert was limited to four points, all at the free-throw line, in Saturday's 70-66 loss to Vermont. He came off the bench and played 23 minutes. Impact Edert was a high-profile transfer in April, gaining exposure as a key player when St. Peter's upset Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament. Edert has struggled to shoot for Bryant -- he's making just 31.8 of his 3-point attempts, missing all three Saturday -- and he's also a liability on defense (the Catamounts attacked him constantly in this game). While Bryant head coach Jared Grasso had found impact play from other transfers, notably Sherif Gross-Bullock and Earl Timberlake, the Edert addition really hasn't worked out.
