ImpactHemphill was a starter to open the season for Drake, but following a strange four-game absence midseason, he ended up coming off the bench for 11 consecutive games, despite consistently logging starter's minutes. That changed Friday when the stakes were raised, as Hemphill drew the start and logged 39 minutes, recording his first double-double since Dec. 16. He and the Bulldogs will advance to the MVC semifinal game Saturday against Missouri State, with the team needing to win out in order to secure a NCAA Tournament bid.
