AJ Griffin - New career high Griffin finished Saturday's 87-67 victory over North Carolina with 27 points (11-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 31 minutes. Impact Griffin got off to a bit of a slow start this season, due largely to injury, but he remains a lengthy, five-star prospect with an incredibly high ceiling. He's seen his minutes expand of late while Trevor Keels works back from a lower-leg injury, and the results for the freshman have been favorable. Griffin has now started eight consecutive games for the Blue Devils and has averaged 14.4 points and 4.4 rebounds over that span, which has also featured three performances of 22 or more points. He's getting hot at just the right time and will be an x-factor for Duke as the postseason approaches.
