Out at least 2-3 weeks Johnson (foot) will be out at least 2-to-3 weeks, Brendan Marks of The Athletic reports.

Impact The freshman is reportedly in a boot and will be out until the Jan. 12 game against Virginia Tech at a minimum. This is such devastating news for the Blue Devils, as Johnson had gotten off a a stellar start, averaging 11.5 points and 8.3 rebounds. Center Patrick Tape garnered the start in Johnson's place Wednesday, though it appears Joey Baker and Matthew Hurt will likely see a greater uptick in minutes with the freshmen sidelined.

Sidelined indefinitely Duke announced Tuesday that Johnson will be sidelined indefinitely due to a foot injury.

Impact Johnson had gotten off to a strong start to his freshman campaign prior to the injury, averaging 11.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per game through the first four contests. Unfortunately, he appears likely to miss extended time with the injury, a brutal development for Duke with the Blue Devils kicking off their conference slate Wednesday versus Notre Dame.
