Impact Head coach Jon Scheyer said Friday that Blakes will be ready to go for Saturday's matchup with Miami and that he will be wearing a mask to protect the nose. The sophomore has had a significant role off the bench this season, averaging 5.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists while playing 19.3 minutes per game.

Impact Coach Jon Scheyer didn't sound optimistic Wednesday that Roach would be available Saturday, but the junior will still have a chance to suit up against the Hurricanes. Scheyer hopes Roach will practice Friday, but the coach admitted that the guard "really hasn't done a whole lot" recently. Roach's status appears to be in flux, and the team's medical staff will presumably monitor him ahead of tipoff before determining his status.

Impact Roach has missed the last three games due to a toe injury and seems to be trending toward a fourth consecutive absence. While coach Jon Scheyer said Wednesday that Roach has been doing more in practice recently and is trending in the right direction, he didn't seem confident that the junior would return Saturday. Even if Roach isn't available against the Hurricanes, it wouldn't be surprising to see him back on the court soon.
