Jaylen Blakes - Scoring trending up Blakes totaled 17 points (6-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Saturday's 86-67 win over Florida State.
Impact Blakes made his first start of the season and matched his best scoring total of the year, one which he had set just 11 days earlier against Wake Forest. It remains to be seen if he'll continue to start over Tyrese Proctor, but the stock of Blakes clearly appears to be on the rise after appearing in just 21 games as a fringe rotation player in his freshman season.

Dariq Whitehead - Posts season high Whitehead closed Saturday's 86-67 victory over Florida State with 16 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal across 28 minutes.
Impact Whitehead hadn't appeared in a game for three entire weeks due to the nature of the schedule and the fact he missed a Dec. 20 game due to illness. That didn't seem to affect him, however, as the five-star freshman put up a season-high scoring total. While he came off the bench here and has made just one start all season, Whitehead at least appears to be trending in the right direction, with his minutes and scoring both appearing to be on the rise since his Nov. 18 season debut. He's a player worth investing in while the price might still be reasonable.

Dereck Lively - Ineffective in start Lively provided one rebound and two blocks over 12 minutes during Saturday's 86-67 victory over Florida State.
Impact Lively still has a long ways to go to live up to his billing as the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation, per multiple publications. It's sometimes foul trouble that limits him, but on Saturday, he didn't attempt a single shot over 12 minutes on the court. Meanwhile, upperclassman Ryan Young put up 20 points and 12 rebounds in the contest off the bench, and he has been averaging 8.1 points and 7.1 boards on the season. If Lively couldn't be productive in a start against one of the conference's worst teams in both defensive efficiency and rebounding, it's fair to wonder if he'll develop into a viable fantasy option at all during his freshman campaign.
