Impact As expected, RJ Davis was the leading scorer for the Tar Heels, but Cadeau was excellent as a playmaker -- he finished just two assists shy of a double-double. Davis should command most of the attention on offense, but Cadeau should thrive in a facilitating role for UNC as long as he stays healthy.

Impact Cadeau had the ball in his hands more on Tuesday with RJ Davis out with a back injury. The sophomore showed why he is one of the best ball distributors in the ACC. He showed a good connection with Seth Trimble, who started in place of Davis and went off for 33 points. Cadeau also hit two three pointers, which is something coach Hubert Davis desperately needs to create more spacing in the offense. Last season many teams played so far off Cadeau because he only shot 19 percent from three-point range and stacked the paint. UNC opens the regular season on Nov. 4 against Elon.
