Matthew Marsh - Plays 14 minutesMarsh logged zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one block across his 14 minutes during the Demon Deacons' 101-78 win Monday against Elon.
ImpactEfton Reid (not injury related) being ineligible could give Marsh increased opportunities to be the Demon Deacons' starting center for games. However, their 2022-23 season proved that they do not always use him consistently. Excluding the Elon matchup, he logged fewer than 20 minutes across half of his last 10 games started. Marsh's best logs are usually recorded against centers that are approximately the same height as him and play a lot.

Abramo Canka - Limited to nine minutesCanka logged zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) across his nine minutes during Wake Forest's 101-78 win Monday against Elon.
ImpactBeing limited to fewer than nine minutes was normal for Canka during his 2022-23 season. But considering the college sophomore recently recovered from a concussion, perhaps Wake Forest's team wanted him not participating in much of its latest game. Canka could play more across future matchups WF will have.

Kevin Miller - Scores 17 pointsMiller logged 17 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two steals across his 24 minutes during Wake Forest's 101-78 win Monday against Elon.
ImpactCurrently, Miller is expected to take over the top role once held by Tyree Appleby, who turned pro after averaging 18.8 points during Wake Forest's 2022-23 season. The college sophomore has scoring pop in his own right, as proven Monday and previous campaigns he has participated in. Miller averaged 13.8 points on 43.4/36.1/77.8 shooting splits while he was enrolled at Central Michigan across two seasons.

Cameron Hildreth - Drops 33 in openerHildreth amassed 33 points (13-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 38 minutes during Monday's 101-78 win over Elon.
ImpactHildreth caught the attention of the fantasy community by scoring 38 points in an October exhibition victory over Alabama, and his high-scoring ways continued here. The junior guard's previous career high was just 23 points, and he posted 12.4 ppg as a full-time starter last season, so all signs are pointing to a potential breakout campaign.

Efton Reid - Appears to be awaiting eligibilityReid (eligibility) did not take the court in Monday's 101-78 season-opening victory over Elon.
ImpactReid is awaiting an eligibility waiver from the NCAA as a two-time transfer, and his absence from the season opener suggests a ruling has yet to come down. Matthew Marsh started in his stead but didn't offer much in terms of production, while Andrew Carr (24 points) and Marqus Marion (29 minutes, zero points) handled the majority of the frontcourt minutes. Expect a similar alignment if Reid's eligibility decision drags on into non-conference play.
