Impact White made his first appearance of the season in a loss to Wichita State on Thursday and showed flashes of his old self in Sunday's blowout victory over the Bearcats. The 6-8 senior tore his ACL in late May and initially wasn't expected to be ready to play this season. He not only made the first three-pointer of his career Sunday but he received a standing ovation after checking out of the game for the final time. The resurgence of White may grant him a starting spot somewhat soon as he vastly outplayed both Reggie Chaney and Brison Gresham.
