Out indefinitelyCoach Steve Pikiell said Friday that Baker (ankle) won't return for Rutgers in the near future, Jerry Carino of the Asbury Park Press reports.
ImpactBaker sprained his ankle during Wednesday's season opener, and he was unable to suit up Friday against Farleigh-Dickinson. He's reportedly in a walking boot, and Pikiell said that he doesn't expect that he'll shed it soon. "He's not going to play anytime soon," Pikiell said. "The boot will be on for a little bit here."

Won't suit up FridayBaker (ankle) didn't warm up with the team and has been ruled out for Friday's game against Fairleigh-Dickinson, Brian Fonseca of NJ.com reports.
ImpactBaker suffered a "bad ankle sprain" in the season opener against Sacred Heart on Wednesday, so he's predictably unable to play just two days later. Montez Mathis is a candidate to fill in for Baker on Friday.
