FAU goes for first win vs Warner

The Florida Atlantic Owls are set to battle the Royals of NAIA member Warner
NOVEMBER 11, 2021ASSOCIATED PRESS
Jaelen House - Drops 30 in high-scoring affairHouse closed Wednesday's 99-92 victory over Florida Atlantic with 30 points (10-19 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-10 FT), three rebounds, six assists and two steals in 37 minutes.
ImpactHouse was a reserve for his first two seasons of collegiate ball at Arizona State, but it appears he's set to see a major role increase as the primary point guard for the Lobos. He led the team in shots attempted while also contributing in ancillary categories, formally placing him on the fantasy radar in formats which include the Mountain West.

Bryan Greenlee - Not available in openerGreenlee did not take the court in Wednesday's season-opening loss to New Mexico.
ImpactGreenlee also did not suit up for FAU's only exhibition game Nov. 1, so it's fair to wonder if some type of injury is in play. The former Golden Gopher served as the primary point guard last season with the Owls, starting all 23 games he appeared in and posting 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. His next chance to take the court will be Saturday against DII Warner, followed by a tough matchup against Miami next Tuesday. If he remains unable to go, look for Alijah Martin to continue serving in a starting role, while Michael Forrest also chips in as a ball-handler.

Emmanuel Kuac - Dealing with lower body injuryKuac (lower body) did not play in Wednesday's game against Florida Atlantic, Isabel Gonzalez of the Lair New Mexico reports.
ImpactIt's unclear how much time Kuac will miss going forward. The junior is a versatile player that can play a lot of different positions and New Mexico will hope to have him back against Colorado on Saturday.

New Mexico hangs on for 90-88 win over FAU

Jalen House scored a career-high 30 points and New Mexico raced past Florida Atlantic 99-92 in the season opener for both teams
NOVEMBER 11, 2021ASSOCIATED PRESS
Gethro Muscadin - Scores 18 in openerMuscadin (undisclosed) put up 18 points (6-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 99-92 win against Florida At...
ImpactMuscadin missed Friday's exhibition contest due to a lack of practice time, but he looked plenty fresh off the bench in Wednesday's season opener. Birima Seck received the start at center but played only nine minutes, as Muscadin clearly operated at New Mexico's top big man.
