Keonte Kennedy - Mid-February best-case scenarioHead coach Joe Golding indicated on his weekly radio show that Kennedy (foot) will be sidelined until at least mid-to-late February, Adrian Broaddus of 600 ESPN El Paso reports.
ImpactGolding termed mid-to-late February as a "best-case scenario" for Kennedy's return to the floor, so it certainly sounds like an even longer absence is on the table. The sophomore played a big part for the Miners on both ends of the floor through the first 12 games, racking up 13.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.2 steals per game, but the team, which has gone just 4-3 since he went down, will need to soldier on without him for the foreseeable future.
