ImpactOver his last five games, Parham has posted a stellar 26.4 ppg scoring average to go along with 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists. None of those contests were a sweet as Wednesday, however, as Parham was the driving factor in an upset over the likely top team in the Southern Conference. With the win, VMI moves up to 3-3 in SoCon play.

ImpactSlawson drastically outperformed his season averages of 9.6 points and 5.5 rebounds, but the supporting cast didn't help out enough to stop Furman from getting a black mark on its NCAA Tournament resume. Slawson now has three double-doubles this season for the Palidins, but rarely will he see as friendly of a defensive matchup, as VMI ranks outside the nation's top-300 in most defensive efficiency metrics.
