ImpactAuburn needed someone to start in place of Jabari Smith (who declared for the 2022 NBA Draft) and selected Williams. However, he may not be regularly starting. Yohan Traore is a four-star recruit Auburn signed to replace Smith and possibly play in place of the senior Williams.
