Ricky Lindo - Will play vs. St. Francis (PA) Lindo (undisclosed) has been cleared to play in Tuesday night's season opener against St. Francis (PA), Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Both Lindo and teammate Joe Bamisile sat out George Washington's only exhibition contest for reasons not specified, but both will be on the floor for opening night. Lindo was incredible effective for the Colonials last season after finally making his debut Jan. 13. He started the final seven games of the year and averaged a double-double with 11.4 points and 10.7 rebounds.

Joe Bamisile - Cleared for opener Bamisile (undisclosed) will play in Tuesday's opener against St. Francis (PA), Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Bamisile sat out George Washington's only official exhibition matchup for reasons unspecified, but that won't be enough to hold both him and teammate Ricky Lindo out of the opener. The Virginia Tech transfer is expected to see a much greater role in the Atlantic 10 than he did with the Hokies, where he averaged just 3.5 ppg over 13 appearances in 2020-21.

He still expects to play a big role given he was one of George Washington's representatives at A10 media day, but whether he's ready for the season opener Nov. 9 against St. Francis (PA) remains to be seen.

Ira Lee - Season over before it begins Lee suffered a ruptured patella tendon and is set to miss the 2021-22 season, Justin Spears of the Arizona Daily Star reports.

Impact Lee suffered the injury playing a pickup game back in mid-August and was given an eight-month timetable to return, so his George Washington debut will have to wait until 2022-23. He was a rotation player in each of his four seasons with Arizona, but never quite lived up to the recruiting hype. Heading to a mid-major likely means a big minutes uptick, provided his recovery is on track and he sticks around for another season.

Amir Harris - Back on court Harris started and logged six points (3-4 FG), five rebounds, four blocks and two steals across 20 minutes in Monday's 93-51 exhibition victory over Hood.

Impact Harris missed the entire 2020-21 season due to injury after only appearing in 11 games the season before, but it looks like he's clear for the 2021-22 campaign. His presence in the starting five bodes well for his chances of returning to fantasy relevance this season, at least in formats that include Atlantic Ten teams.
