First double-double of season Battle had 14 points (4-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block Saturday against Coppin State. Impact Battle appears to be emerging for the Colonials. The sophomore wasn't awful last year, averaging 11.8 ppg and 5.2 rpg, but he's been impressive through three games in 2020-21, putting up 15.0 ppg and 9.3 rpg. The schedule picks up some after the next week, with South Carolina and Dayton looming, but Battle is making a case to be useful in Tier 2 formats, and there may be room for more growth as he's hitting just 22 percent of his 3-pointers in the early going after a 37 percent clip a year ago.
