Impact As expected, Ighoefe suffered a fractured hand during Tuesday's win over Longwood. The starting center will be sidelined for at least a month. Malcolm Wilson and Ryan Mutombo will likely both see extended opportunities during Ighoefe's absence.

Impact Carey was one of five Hoyas to record double-digit points, thanks in large part to his passing. Each of Carey's five assists resulted in three-pointers, and his connection with Kaiden Rice accounted for three of those. Carey punished the Lancers from the line and has yet to miss a free throw, he is a perfect 19 for 19 this season. The senior has averaged 12.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists during 32 minutes through his first six starts this season.

Impact Mohammed recorded his second career double-double and was one of five Hoyas to crack double-digit points. His block and first steal came at crucial moments and allowed Georgetown to take the lead in the first half which they never gave back. The freshman is averaging 13.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.5 steals during 30.8 minutes per game on the season.

Impact Head coach Patrick Ewing stated after Tuesday's win that Ighoefe may have fractured his hand and that the team will know more Wednesday. Ighoefe was seen on the bench in street clothes to begin the second half and finished with six points and two rebounds. It seems like the 7-0 junior could be heading for an extended absence, leaving more playing time for Malcolm Wilson.
