Tallies 22 from benchJohnson had a team-high 22 points (9-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT) to go along with three rebounds and three steals in 22 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's 89-81 loss to Tennessee.
ImpactJohnson has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option since his Jan. 13 debut, as he has performances with 21 and 22 points, as well as games with five and three points. He provides a spark off the bench this season, but should see his role with the program expand in years to come.

Takes shot to the faceGarcia was helped off the floor after taking a shot to the nose in the second half of Wednesday's loss to Tennessee, Marc Weisze of the Athens Banner-Herald reports.
ImpactGarcia apparently could have returned to the contest, but he instead sat out and was limited to 12 minutes -- his lowest total since Jan. 16. The senior has provided the Bulldogs with quality depth at the wing this season, and even had a four-game stretch in which he averaged 13.5 ppg. It's unclear if he'll be limited Saturday at Alabama, but it appears it won't stop him from playing.

Aiming for Saturday returnPons (knee) appears likely to return Saturday against LSU, Terry A. Lambert of SB Nation reports.
ImpactAccording to coach Rick Barnes, Pons did everything in his power to try and play Wednesday, but the team ultimately decided to hold him out to allow the swelling in his knee to recede. When asked specifically about the Saturday matchup, though, Barnes responded with "I do think he'll be back." In the absence of Pons on Wednesday, Josiah-Jordan James returned to the starting lineup, but it was Jaden Springer that came through with a career-high 30 points. Look for a more balanced attack if Pons gets back in the mix.
