Nearly flawless Monday Dick amassed 23 points (9-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and two steals over 32 minutes during Monday's 89-64 victory over Omaha.
Impact Dick finished as the Jayhawks' leading scorer during his collegiate debut, making 69.2 percent of his field goals and 66.7 percent of his three-point attempts against Omaha. As Kansas' top recruit from the 2022 class, the 6-foot-8 shooting guard also tied returning starter Dajuan Harris and Jalen Wilson for the team's most minutes played Monday. With three of the team's top four scorers from last season gone, Dick could quickly emerge into a starting role as he progresses through his freshman campaign.

Expected to be a starter Coach Bill Self said that Dick will likely start to begin the season, Jordan Guskey of The Topeka Capital-Journal reports.
Impact Coach Self indicated that Kevin McCullar, Jalen Wilson, and Dajuan Harris were the other likely starters with the final spot to be determined. Dick is the team's top recruit from the 2022 class and will provide the Jayhawks with an elite shooting option and some nice size at the shooting guard position.
