Returns to practice Yalden is back at practice following his leave of absence, Rohan Chakravarthi of SB Nation reports. Impact Yalden was initially reported to be away from the team due to "a personal family matter," but the Wisconsin State Journal reported earlier this week that he had received multiple citations from campus police -- one for underage drinking and another for possession of marijuana at his residence hall. The more recent citation came days before Yalden was absence from practice and the team announced a temporary leave of absence. It appears Yalden has met the requirements coach Greg Gard has established for him to re-join team activities, but it's unclear how soon the four-star forward will return to the court. In his absence, freshman Nolan Winter has been impressive serving behind Steven Crowl, while Carter Gilmore continues to see minutes behind Tyler Wahl. It will be a crowded rotation for Yalden to break into, once clear.
