Out Wednesday Barre (hamstring) will not appear in Wednesday's game against St. Joseph's, Zachary Weiss of PittsburghSportsNow.com reports.

Impact Barre will sit out against the Hawks as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury. The 6-foot-9 junior, who is averaging 4.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks on 12.7 minutes per game this season, will have his next opportunity to return Saturday against UMass.

Back in starting unit Barre (quad) will start Saturday's game versus Davidson, Zachary Weiss of PittsburghSportsNow.com reports.

Impact Barre was unable to suit up for the last contest due to a quad issue he suffered against Cleary on Dec. 27, but he's reclaimed a spot in the starting unit Saturday, suggesting he'll play his usual role in this one. The junior enters the day averaging 5.8 points and 4.6 boards over 13.2 minutes per game.

Tending to quad injury Barre was helped off the court after one minute in a Dec. 27 game against Cleary due to an apparent non-contact injury in his left quad, Jack Morgan of A10 Talk reports.

Impact Barre took over for David Dixon as Duquesne's starting center on Dec. 6 and started each game since, though Dixon had been seeing more minutes despite the change. While Barre missed the team's A10 opener Dec. 31 against Rhode Island, it was Eli Wilborn who drew the start. It's currently unclear exactly what Barre is dealing with, so he should be considered questionable at best for Saturday's matchup at Davidson.

In Barre's stead, Dusan Mahorcic and David Dixon are seeing more minutes at the five.
